The Sr. Project Manager will plan, manage, control, and deliver large, complex projects for Gavilon from initiation to completion. The Sr. Project Manager will run matrixed project teams with responsibility for planning time, scope, and budget. The Sr. Project Manager will work very closely with the technology, business, and management to define and deliver solutions to business problems.
Responsibilities
Project Management
· Own overall schedule, budget, and deliverables for assigned projects.
· Drive the overall project from initiation through delivery, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget constraints and in accordance with the business and customer specification.
· Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation.
· Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
· Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
· Directs and oversees project team and manages conflicts within group.
· Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.
· Create and maintain project documentation.
· Monitor and report project progress, issues, and risks to the executive sponsor and project stakeholders.
· Perform functional reviews of the IT deliverables to ensure they have met the documented business requirements
· Manage and control changes to project scope while communicating impact to management and project team members.
· Track and maintain the project budget.
· Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and signoffs.
· Provide post-project evaluation.

Requirements
Formal Education
Four-year college degree, preferably in Information Technology or Business
· PMP Certification Preferred

10+ years of project management experience
· 7+ years of proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions
· 3+ years of direct staff management
