Position Description
The primary duties of the Project Manager include directing and/or executing the technical aspects remedial investigations (RI), feasibility studies (FS), remedial designs (RD) and remedial actions (RA) at National Priorities List (NPL) Sites in the Rocky Mountain Region. Duties will also include the preparation of RI, FS, RD and RA reports as well as Proposed Plans and Records of Decision. NPL Sites will include historic mining facilities (including asbestos) and other heavy industries involving both organic and inorganic contaminants in soil, ground and surface water. The Project Manager will assemble and direct technical staff as well as author major portions of the reports.

Strong writing skills.

Prior experience authoring major portions of RI/FS reports at NPL Sites.

Familiarity or competence in developing and executing field sampling programs, ecological and human health risk assessment, analysis of temporal and spatial contaminant trends, contaminant fate and transport, hydrogeology, analytical methods, applicable or relevant and appropriate requirements (ARARs), earthwork and water/soil treatment remedies.
