This position is responsible for the development and on-going process improvements relative to installation and service delivery. Mentoring of all technical resources is required. Must assign proper technical skill sets to projects to help ensure that the work required is completed with a high level of quality assurance and done in a timely manner. Assist with sales and installation activity as required. Provide on-going training and development for the engineering organization.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for developing all process documentation.
2. Responsible for ensuring all assessment and implementation documents are completed as to ensure consistency and quality of the work being performed.
3. Responsible for training all technical resources on PC & server builds.
4. The position serves as the single point of contact for engineers and must support their needs in a timely and complete manner.
5. This position is responsible for the recruiting, hiring and training of all engineering functional roles.
6. Responsible as needed to complete engineering work where needed.
7. All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in MIS or the equivalent work experience
- MCSE or equivalent systems or operating system certifications
- 8-10 years experience with Cisco routers
- 8-10 years experience in a multi-domain Windows 2003/2008 enterprise environment
- 8-10 years experience with multiple Microsoft Backoffice applications
- Microsoft Exchange Server
- Microsoft Internet Information Server
- Microsoft SQL Server
- 5-7 years system design and/or systems administration experience
- 6-8 years project management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- 7-8 years network design and/or administration experience
- CCNA or equivalent networking certifications
